Oops sorry, I must have forgotten that Bid Day ended almost 2 weeks ago! It seems as though it was just yesterday that we sailed away with over 40 new members! Thats right, this year over 40 women are calling home to Alpha Chi Omega, and we cannot wait to welcome our new sisters into the bond.
If you couldn't tell already this years Bid Day theme was Come Sail Away! So naturally, we tied up our bows and laced up our Sperry's for one of our most exciting Bid Day's yet! With a stage lined with sea worthy props the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega were ready to welcome their newest members.
Bid Day reveal was as exciting as ever this year, one by one the girls unzipped their sweatshirts revealing their chapter's t-shirt as we all run up to get her, cheering and singing the whole way.
While Bid Day may be over the fun has just begun, with so many new member activities! These next four years you will spend getting to know your sisters new and old, cherish every moment because it doesn't last forever.
"Twenty years from now you will be more dissapointed by the things you didn't do than the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain

College Lifestyles CEO Makes a Stop at Marquette University!
Shelly Marie Redmond, MS, RD, LDN, Executive Director/CEO of College Lifestyles spread the word of good health and nutrition as the guest speaker of ,Campus Cafe: A Guide to Fighting the Freshman 15 and Eating for Energy, sponsored by the
lovely ladies of Alpha Chi Omega.
YAH! Just about to get started with the presentation
In Shelly’s words…..
‘I had such a wonderful time at Marquette. The ladies of Alpha Chi Omega were absolutely welcoming, lovely, and such a joy to work with. Before I even arrived, the ladies set up fabulous marketing and PR for the event.
The morning of the event, I went to breakfast at a DELICIOUS campus favorite (which it is embarrassing I can’t think of the name, probably because my French toast was so YUMMY it blocked my thought process!
After the event, I had a great conversation with some of the ladies on what else, sorority life!
To wrap up, I had a blast!
Thank you so much Alpha Chi Omega at Marquette! Always keep your wonderful spirit and personality!’
Shelly Marie Redmond, MS, RD, LDN is the Executive Director/CEO of College Lifestyles. She loves spreading the word of good health, classiness, and sisterhood!
